Basketball Recap: Ithaca Extends Home Winning Streak to Four

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Kickapoo, Ithaca was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They enjoyed a cozy 67-52 victory over the Wauzeka-Steuben Hornets. The Bulldogs haven't had any issues with the Hornets recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive win against them.

Ithaca's victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 15-6. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 67.3 points over those games. As for Wauzeka-Steuben, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-14.

Looking ahead, Ithaca will take on Cashton at 7:15 p.m. on Monday. As for Wauzeka-Steuben, they will be playing at home against Lancaster at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. One thing working in Lancaster's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last four matchups.
