Baseball Game Preview: John Hay vs. Garrett Morgan Falcons

John Hay will head out on the road to square off against the Garrett Morgan Falcons at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. John Hay is coming into the matchup on a four-game losing streak.

Max S. Hayes hit John Hay with a 13-run sixth inning on Thursday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. John Hay lost 18-3 to Max S. Hayes.

John Hay saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was De'Charion Williams, who went 1-for-3 with two stolen bases and one run. Erek Williams was another, going a perfect 1-for-1 with one stolen base and one run.

Meanwhile, after only one run in their last contest, Garrett Morgan made sure to put some runs up on the board against John Adams on Thursday. The Falcons were the clear victors by a 15-0 margin over the Rebels. The result was nothing new for the Falcons, who have now won six games by seven runs or more so far this season.

Garrett Morgan's victory bumped their record up to 7-3. As for John Hay, their loss dropped their record down to 3-7.

John Hay couldn't quite get it done against Garrett Morgan when the teams last played back in May of 2024 as they fell 12-8. Can John Hay avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
