Basketball Recap: Saturday's Victory Is Eads' 18th in Last 19 Outings

It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Eads had no problem doing just that on Saturday. They skirted past Stratton 53-51. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory Eads has posted since January 5, 2024.

Eads found their leader in sophomore Anna Wollert, who dropped a double-double with 22 points and ten boards. Wollert is also on a roll when it comes to blocks, as she's now posted two or more in each of the last five games she's played. Another player making a difference was Alessandra Paez, who posted four points and eight rebounds.

Eads smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 20 offensive rebounds. That's the most offensive boards they've posted since back in March of 2024.

Eads is on a roll lately: they've won 18 of their last 19 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 23-4 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 50.4 points over those games. This is the second loss in a row for Stratton and nudges their season record down to 21-7.
