Baseball Recap: Louisville Wins Going Away Against Noxubee County

It was a proper cat-fight when Louisville challenged Noxubee County on Wednesday. The Louisville Wildcats never let the Noxubee County Tigers get on the board and left with a 12-0 win. The match marked the Wildcats' most dominant victory of the season.

Josh Ammons was a major factor while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound, striking out six batters over three innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit (and not a single walk). That's the fewest hits he has allowed since back in April of 2024. He was also big at the plate, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 2-for-3. That stolen base marked the first that he snagged this season.

In other batting news, Kayleb White and Mitchell Turner did most of the damage at the plate: White scored two runs and stole Three bases. while going 2-for-3, while Turner scored three runs and stole Two bases. while going 2-for-2. That's the most hits White has posted over his last eight contests. The team also got some help courtesy of Kayden Moore, who scored a run while going 2-for-3.
