Kyana Poitier leads Palm Beach Gardens to victory over Seminole Ridge

The Palm Beach Gardens Gators lost to the Seminole Ridge Hawks back in January, but the Palm Beach Gardens Gators didn't allow the Seminole Ridge Hawks the same satisfaction on Friday. Palm Beach Gardens came out on top against Seminole Ridge by a score of 57-49.
Kyana Poitier went supernova for Palm Beach Gardens, dropping a double-double on 21 points and 23 rebounds. That makes it two consecutive games in which Poitier has scored at least 25% of Palm Beach Gardens' points. The team also got some help courtesy of Alicia Russell, who scored 14 points.
The victory got Palm Beach Gardens back to even at 1-1. As for Seminole Ridge, their loss dropped their record down to 2-1.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Palm Beach Gardens will face off against Palm Beach Central at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Seminole Ridge, they will head out on the road to face off against Dwyer at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
