Volleyball Game Preview: Minooka Indians vs. Andrew Thunderbolts

The Minooka Indians will face off against the Andrew Thunderbolts at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this game.

Minooka is probably headed into the matchup with a chip on their shoulder considering Yorkville just ended the team's five-game winning streak on Thursday. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Foxes.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-16, 25-20.

Meanwhile, Andrew came up short against Lincoln-Way Central on Thursday and fell 2-0.

The final score came out to 25-19, 25-15.

Andrew's loss dropped their record down to 13-20. As for Minooka, their defeat dropped their record down to 15-17.

Minooka was able to grind out a solid win over Andrew in their previous meeting back in May of 2024, winning 2-0. Will the Indians repeat their success, or do the Thunderbolts have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
