Softball Recap: J.P. McCaskey Comes Up Short

J.P. McCaskey entered their contest against Manheim Township on Wednesday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. The Red Tornado lost 16-3 to the Blue Streaks. The game marked the Red Tornado's lowest-scoring match so far this season.

J.P. McCaskey saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Lleana Martinez, who went 1-for-3 with one home run and two RBI.

J.P. McCaskey now has a losing record of 5-6. As for Manheim Township, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 5-4 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. J.P. McCaskey will head out to face off against Warwick at 4:15 p.m. on Friday. As for Manheim Township, they will venture away from home to challenge Solanco at 4:15 p.m. on Thursday. The Golden Mules will roll in looking for their tenth straight victory, something the Blue Streaks surely won't give up without a fight.
