Volleyball Recap: Felton Grove Wins Going Away Against Sanderson

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Holly Springs, Felton Grove was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They put the hurt on the Sanderson Spartans with a sharp 3-0 victory. The Galaxy not only won on Tuesday, but they posted their biggest win since September 18th (when they won 3-0).

The win didn't come easy: Sanderson scored at least 18 points in every set. The final score came out to 25-18, 27-25, 25-23.

Despite the loss, Sanderson still got an impressive performance from Mireya Chavez, who had 30 digs and four assists. Chavez has been hot, having posted ten or more digs the last seven times she's played. Emma Webster also deserves some recognition as she posted her first assist of the season.

Felton Grove's victory bumped their record up to 6-15. As for Sanderson, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-16.

As of now, neither Felton Grove nor the Spartans have any future games scheduled.
