Passaic Valley strolled into their game on Wednesday with a perfect record and they left with the same. They were the clear victors by a 12-2 margin over the Lakeland Regional Lancers. The result was nothing new for the Hornets, who have now won nine matchups by six runs or more so far this season.

Passaic Valley pushed their record up to 14-0 with the win, which was their fourth straight at home. The home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 12.0 runs over those games. As for Lakeland Regional, with the loss, they broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 6-8.
