Football Recap: Colby Comes Up Short

Colby lost against Amherst back in September of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Hornets had to suffer through a 38-8 loss at the hands of the Falcons. The Hornets were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 32-0.

Colby now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Amherst, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-0.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Colby is set to face off against their familiar foe Loyal/Greenwood at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Amherst will take on rival Marathon at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
