Soccer Recap: St. Mary's Academy Comes Up Short

St. Mary's Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They came up short against the Holy Spirit Prep Cougars, falling 5-1.

St. Mary's Academy's loss dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Holy Spirit Prep, the win got them back to even at 2-2-1.

Looking ahead, St. Mary's Academy is packing up and heading out on the road for their first away game this season: they will challenge Heritage Preparatory at 4:45 p.m. on Wednesday. St. Mary's Academy has given up an average of 6.8 goals per game this season, so hopefully the team got some defensive drills in this week. As for Holy Spirit Prep, they will look to defend their home pitch on Thursday against Rock Springs Christian Academy at 4:30 p.m.
