Volleyball Recap: Dynamic Duo of Stephanie Larios and Hadley Bliss Lead Delta to Victory

Delta's game on Friday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Friday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Union Cougars, sneaking past 3-2. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Rabbits have posted since September 20th.

Delta was led to victory by Hadley Bliss and Stephanie Larios. Bliss had 22 digs and one assist, while Larios had 12 digs and three aces. Those three aces gave Larios a new career-high. Kambri Mecham was another key player, getting 18 assists and three digs.

When it comes to explaining why Union lost, don't look at Aliah Martin. Despite the final result, she had 16 digs and five assists. Another player making a difference was Drew Kesler, who had 14 digs and one assist.

Delta is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 18-6 record this season. As for Union, their defeat dropped their record down to 12-11.

Delta wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 3-2 loss against Panguitch on the 11th. As for Union, they have also already played their next contest, a 3-0 defeat against Canyon View on the 10th.
