Bishop Blanchet beats Ballard for their second straight win

Recap: Bishop Blanchet Bears vs. Ballard Beavers

Even though The Ballard Beavers scored an imposing 53 points on Friday, the Bishop Blanchet Bears still came out on top. In a tight match that could have gone either way, Bishop Blanchet made off with a 54-53 win over Ballard. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Bishop Blanchet.

Despite the loss, Ballard still got an impressive performance from Joe Farley, who threw for 278 yards and six touchdowns. Farley is on a roll when it comes to passing touchdowns, as he's now passed for three or more in the last three games he's played. Another player making a difference was Adam Tripp, who picked up 74 receiving yards and three touchdowns.

Bishop Blanchet's win was their third straight at home, bumping their overall record up to 4-4. Admittedly, the team didn't face the toughest opposition across those games, namely Ballard, Lincoln, and Seattle Prep. As for Ballard, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-6.

Bishop Blanchet does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Ballard will be playing in front of their home fans against Lincoln at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. Lincoln is still on the hunt for that elusive first 'W'.
