Basketball Recap: Burns Flat-Dill City Comes Up Short

Burns Flat-Dill City lost against Merritt back in January of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Burns Flat-Dill City Eagles took a 45-40 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Merritt Oilers. The Eagles have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Burns Flat-Dill City's defeat dropped their record down to 4-6. As for Merritt, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 8-5.

Burns Flat-Dill City will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Cordell at 8:00 p.m. on January 31st. Merritt has already played their next contest (against Hollis), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
