Soccer Game Preview: Everman vs. Centennial

The Everman Bulldogs will challenge the Centennial Spartans at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Everman will be looking to extend their current 11-game winning streak.

In Friday's Canine Competition, Everman prevailed. Their defense stepped up to hand Mansfield Timberview a 3-0 shutout on Friday. Considering the Bulldogs have won six games by more than two goals this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

David Ceniceros and GAEL ROSALES scored all three of Everman's goals, bringing their combined season tally to five goals.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Centennial, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Tuesday. They put the hurt on Seguin with a sharp 5-2 victory on Friday. The win continues a trend for the Spartans in their matchups with the Cougars: they've now won eight in a row.

Everman pushed their record up to 13-2 with the victory, which was their fifth straight at home. The wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up zero goals over those five matchups. As for Centennial, their win bumped their record up to 9-5.
