Basketball Game Preview: Lincolnview Lancers vs. Crestview Knights

Lincolnview hasn't had much luck against Crestview recently, but that could start to change on Friday. The Lincolnview Lancers will challenge the Crestview Knights at 7:00 p.m.

Lincolnview is headed into Friday's game looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their eighth straight game on Saturday. They came up short against Arlington, falling 51-27. While losing is never fun, the Lancers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 536th, while the Red Devils are ranked 121st).

Meanwhile, Crestview had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 17.5 points) and they went ahead and made it three on Saturday. They came within five points of losing the streak, but they secured a 66-61 W against the Bluejays.

Lincolnview's defeat dropped their record down to 5-17. As for Crestview, their win bumped their record up to 18-4.

Lincolnview was dealt a bruising 68-36 loss at the hands of Crestview in their previous matchup on Friday. Can Lincolnview avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
