Volleyball Recap: Deforest Finds Home Court Redemption Against Beaver Dam

There's no place like home for DeForest, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Saturday. They walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Beaver Dam Golden Beavers on Thursday. The Norskies haven't had any issues with the Golden Beavers recently, as the game was their third consecutive win against them.

DeForest had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 21-25, 25-15, 25-16, 25-13.

Kendall Johnson went supernova, getting 17 digs and three aces. Those three aces gave her a new career-high.

DeForest's victory bumped their record up to 14-7. As for Beaver Dam, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 14-11.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. DeForest will venture away from home to face off against Monona Grove at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Beaver Dam, they will take on Grafton at 8:00 a.m. on Saturday.
