Baseball Recap: Tomball Memorial Comes Up Short

Tomball Memorial was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They fell 6-1 to the Klein Cain Hurricanes. The Wildcats were not able to make up for their defeat to the Hurricanes from their previous meeting back in March of 2024.

Tomball Memorial saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Cole Peterson, who went 2-for-3 with one triple. That's the most hits Peterson has posted over his last nine games.

Tomball Memorial's loss dropped their record down to 12-9-1. As for Klein Cain, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 5-6-3.

While Tomball Memorial had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
