Soccer Recap: Payson Takes a Loss

Payson was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss. They came up short against the Spanish Fork Dons, falling 6-1. The matchup was up for grabs at halftime, but sadly Payson struggled afterwards.

Payson's defeat dropped their record down to 2-9. As for Spanish Fork, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 8-3.

Looking ahead, Payson will welcome Wasatch at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Spanish Fork, they will face off against Springville at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Spanish Fork's defense better be ready for this one: Springville have averaged an impressive 2.5 goals per game this season.
