Volleyball Recap: Indian Hill Braves vs. Mariemont Warriors
After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Taylor, Indian Hill was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. They walked away with a 3-1 win over the Mariemont Warriors. The victory was some much needed relief for the Braves as it spelled an end to their four-game losing streak.
Indian Hill can attribute much of their success to Merrie Leder, who had nine digs and 14 assists.
Indian Hill's win bumped their record up to 6-9. As for Mariemont, they have been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-7 record this season.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Indian Hill will take on Deer Park at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Mariemont, they are taking a road trip to square off against Finneytown at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Finneytown is coming into the game with three straight losses at home, meaning Mariemont will have to defend against a team hungry for a victory.
