Basketball Recap: Greenbrier Bobcats vs. Liberty Creek Wolves
The Greenbrier Bobcats won the last time they faced the Liberty Creek Wolves, and things went their way on Saturday too. Greenbrier enjoyed a cozy 47-31 victory over the Wolves. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Greenbrier.
Greenbrier's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Nolan Carson, who dropped a double-double on ten points and 20 rebounds. Carson is crushing the rebound category: he's posted at least 12 every time he's taken the court this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Nate Castleman, who scored 16 points.
Greenbrier's victory bumped their record up to 13-10. As for Liberty Creek, their loss dropped their record down to 15-7.
Greenbrier will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against the Bison at 7:30 p.m. As for Liberty Creek, they will head out on the road to challenge the War Eagles at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
