Football Recap: Keenan Keeps Pendleton's Under Pressure

Friday just wasn't the day for Keenan's offense. The contest between the Raiders and the Pendleton Bulldogs didn't end well, with the Raiders falling 19-0. If the Raiders were looking for revenge after losing 12-8 to the Bulldogs when the teams met back in August of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Even if they lost, Keenan's defense still kept up the pressure with four sacks. Darius Dixon refused to say out of the backfield, picking up 1.5 sacks all by himself. Tyreik Davenport-Smith was another major factor on D, picking up 0.5 sacks, forcing one fumble, and making 19 total tackles (1.5 for loss).

Keenan's defeat dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Pendleton, the win also got them back to even at 1-1.

Looking ahead, Keenan will square off against Battery Creek at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Pendleton, they will challenge Woodmont at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
