If Pearl City wanted to avenge their loss from the last time they played Dakota, they should've done a better job of containing Makenna Stuckey. The Dakota Indians snuck past the Pearl City Wolves with a 51-45 win on Thursday thanks in part to Stuckey, who dropped a double-double with 19 points and 11 boards. The match was her fourth in a row with at least 16 points.

Another player making a difference was Cora Ingram, who posted ten points along with six rebounds and three steals. That's the most boards she has posted since back in February of 2024.

Dakota's victory bumped their record up to 13-10. As for Pearl City, their defeat dropped their record down to 10-17.

Dakota will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against South Beloit at 6:45 p.m. on February 10th. Pearl City has already played their next contest (against Orangeville), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
