Basketball Game Preview: Thunder Ridge Titans vs. Rigby Trojans

The Thunder Ridge Titans are taking a road trip to take on the Rigby Trojans at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, both will really light up the scoreboard.

Last Tuesday, Thunder Ridge beat Highland 59-47. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Titans.

Meanwhile, Rigby fought the good fight in their overtime game against Madison on Tuesday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell just short of the Bobcats by a score of 78-76. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game last Wednesday (68), the Trojans still had to take the loss.

Rigby's loss dropped their record down to 8-6. As for Thunder Ridge, they pushed their record up to 7-8 with the victory, which was their third straight at home.

Thunder Ridge didn't have too much breathing room in their match against Rigby in their previous matchup on January 7th, but they still walked away with a 45-40 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for Thunder Ridge since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
