Basketball Recap: Bonny Eagle Comes Up Short

Bonny Eagle was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They took a hard 71-56 fall against the Sanford Spartans. The Scots were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Spartans earlier this season, when they won 72-65.

Bonny Eagle's defeat dropped their record down to 5-10. As for Sanford, the win snapped their losing streak at five games and leaves them with a 5-9 record.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Bonny Eagle will welcome Deering at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Sanford, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Noble at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Noble will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something Sanford surely won't give up without a fight.
