Soccer Game Preview: Alamo Heights vs. Pieper

The Alamo Heights Mules will challenge the Pieper Warriors at 7:15 p.m. on Friday.

Alamo Heights is coming in off a wild two-game stretch: after soaring to five goals last Tuesday, they were much more limited against Boerne on Tuesday. They fell just short of the Greyhounds by a score of 1-0.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Pieper, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Friday. They never let Boerne-Champion get on the board and left with a 3-0 victory on Tuesday. The Warriors might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won ten games by three goals or more this season.

Pieper pushed their record up to 15-3 with the win, which was their fourth straight at home. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 21 goals over those four matchups. As for Alamo Heights, their defeat dropped their record down to 12-7.
