Recap: Grace Christian Crusader vs. Bible Baptist Christian Eagles
This season hasn't been kind to the Grace Christian Crusader, who are still winless after their sixth game. They were dealt a 68-16 defeat at the hands of Bible Baptist Christian on Tuesday. Grace Christian was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 38-8.
Dylan Fitch and Brandon Fitch certainly did their best on Tuesday to try and avoid the loss. Fitch scored 8 points, while Fitch scored 8 points. Fitch scored a full 50% of Grace Christian's points, the second time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Bible Baptist Christian to victory, but perhaps none more so than Michael Greene, who scored 14 points along with 9 rebounds and 7 steals. Greene hasn't dropped below two steals for five straight games. Another player making a difference was Logan Hamilton, who scored 20 points along with 6 rebounds and 3 steals.
Grace Christian bumped their record down to 0-6 with that defeat, which was their third straight on the road. As for Bible Baptist Christian, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six contests, which provided a nice bump to their 6-2 record this season.
Grace Christian's road trip will continue as they head out to face Forest at 5:00 p.m. on December 14th. As for Bible Baptist Christian, they will look to defend their home court on Thursday against Victory Baptist at 7:30 p.m. Victory Baptist will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Georgia Rankings (they are ranked 247th, while Bible Baptist Christian is ranked 103rd).
