There's no place like home for McClain, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Thursday. They walked away with a 6-3 win over the Paint Valley Bearcats on Tuesday. The victory continues a trend for the Tigers in their matchups with the Bearcats: they've now won three in a row.

Hayley Worthen spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered just two earned (and one unearned) runs on eight hits and racked up ten Ks.

On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Brie Cummins, who went 2-for-4 with one home run, two stolen bases, and two runs. Another player making a difference was Kenzie Wise, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base, two RBI, and one double.

McClain's win bumped their record up to 7-11. As for Paint Valley, their loss was their eighth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 5-14.

McClain has already played their next game, a 10-4 defeat against Clinton-Massie on the 7th. As for Paint Valley, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, a 14-1 loss against Piketon on the 7th.
