Softball Recap: Golden Sierra Takes a Loss

Golden Sierra lost against Lindhurst on Thursday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. Golden Sierra came up short against Lindhurst, falling 24-14. The Grizzlies have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Lucy Miller made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and scored two runs and stole three bases while going 2-for-3. Elena Vandervoot was another key player, scoring three runs while going 1-for-4.

Golden Sierra's loss dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Lindhurst, the win (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 7-3.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Golden Sierra will challenge rival Highlands at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Lindhurst is set to square off against their familiar foe Vacaville Christian at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
