Noxon dropped down to 3-2 on Friday, ending the team's three-game streak of wins. They were dealt a 56-0 defeat at the hands of the Lincoln Lynx. Having soared to a lofty 70 points in the game before, the Red Devils' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

As for Lincoln, the victory (which was their seventh in a row) raised their record to 7-1. Those wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 62.1 points over those games.

Kayden Riddle produced another solid performance rushing for 175 yards and two touchdowns on only five carries, while also throwing for 204 yards and four TDs on only 12 passes. His longest rush was for an impressive 62 yards, which helps to explain his lofty yards per carry total. Another player making a difference was Austen Salber, who picked up 76 receiving yards and a pair of scores.
