Volleyball Game Preview: Kanab Cowboys vs. Draper APA Eagles

The Kanab Cowboys will square off against the Draper APA Eagles at 3:30 p.m. on Friday. Both come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Kanab is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Wednesday. They walked away with a 3-1 win over Gunnison Valley. The Cowboys haven't had any issues with the Bulldogs recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive victory against them.

In the three sets Kanab was on fire: they won each by at least ten points. The match finished with set scores of 25-10, 25-15, 23-25, 25-9.

For some reason, the away team has come away with the win the last four times Draper APA and Intermountain Christian have met, but the home crowd finally got their W last Wednesday. The Eagles were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Lions.

One reason for the win was Draper APA's just kept getting better, winning each set by more points than the last. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-21, 25-12, 25-7.

Draper APA's win bumped their record up to 23-3. As for Kanab, their victory bumped their record up to 7-16.
