Softball Recap: Northridge Triumphs

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Page, Northridge was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They walked away with a 5-2 victory over the Altamont Longhorns.

The team relied heavily on Madisyn Lecour, who went 1-for-2 with one home run and three RBI. That home run was her first of the season. The team also got some help courtesy of Makaybree Nay, who scored a run while going 2-for-3.

The win got Northridge back to even at 2-2. As for Altamont, their loss dropped their record down to 0-2.

Looking ahead, Northridge will be taking part in a tournament against Syracuse at 5:45 p.m. on Friday. Northridge is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 6.5 runs per game this season. As for Altamont, they will take on Dixie at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
