They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 9-7 win over the North Rose-Wolcott Cougars. For Williamson, this counts as revenge for the 15-5 loss North Rose-Wolcott walked away with the last time they faced one another back in May of 2023.
Tim Vos made a splash while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound, striking out seven batters over 3.1 innings while giving up no earned runs off three hits (and not a single walk).
