Basketball Recap: Marist Takes a Loss

Marist lost against Marshfield back in February of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Marist Spartans took a 46-35 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Marshfield Pirates. That's two games in a row now that the Spartans have lost by exactly 11 points.

Marist's defeat was their first in the league, dropping their league record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 8-5. As for Marshfield, they now have a winning record of 8-7.

Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Junction City the next time they take the court. Marist will host Junction City at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday, while Marshfield will head out to face them at 7:15 p.m. on January 24th.
