Dexter is a perfect 10-0 against Bloomfield since October of 2017 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Monday. The Bearcats will square off against the Wildcats at 7:00 p.m. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this matchup.

On Thursday, Dexter didn't have quite enough to beat Bell City and fell 3-2.

Dexter took Bell City into a fifth set but they suffered a heartbreaking two-point loss. The match finished with set scores of 25-13, 21-25, 20-25, 25-17, 16-14.

Meanwhile, Bloomfield was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They lost 3-0 to Malden.

The final score came out to 25-21, 25-10, 25-16.

Bloomfield's loss dropped their record down to 1-6. As for Dexter, they now have a losing record of 6-7-2.

Dexter took their victory against Bloomfield in their previous meeting back in September of 2024 by a conclusive 3-0 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Bearcats since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
