Carlsbad had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 27.5 points) and they went ahead and made it three on Saturday. They came out on top against the Olympian Eagles by a score of 65-58. This was payback for the Lancers, who suffered a 64-56 defeat the last time these two teams met.

Despite the loss, Olympian still got an impressive performance from Jordan Walker, who went 7-for-16 to rack up 16 points and five boards. Another player making a difference was Xaiver King, who posted ten points.

Carlsbad's victory bumped their record up to 20-5. As for Olympian, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matchups, which has put a noticeable dent in their 20-5 record this season.

Carlsbad wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, an 83-68 win against University City on the 11th. As for Olympian, they have also already played their next game, an 83-49 victory against St. Joseph Academy on the 10th.
