Kimball hadn't done well against Potter-Dix recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Tuesday. The Longhorns came out on top in a nail-biter against the Coyotes, sneaking past 2-1. The Longhorns haven't had any issues with the Coyotes recently, as the game was their third consecutive victory against them.

In the two sets Kimball was on fire: they won each by at least ten points. The match finished with set scores of 20-28, 25-15, 25-11.

Kimball's win bumped their record up to 10-8. As for Potter-Dix, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-16.
