Football Recap: Middle Creek Mustangs vs. Southern Alamance Patriots
Middle Creek extended their postseason success on Friday against Southern Alamance. In a tight contest that could have gone either way, they made off with a 31-30 victory over the Patriots. Winning may never get old, but the Mustangs sure are getting used to it with their fourth in a row.

Lex Sevilla had an outrageously good game as he threw for 342 yards and three touchdowns. Those 342 passing yards gave him a new career-high. Tracy Harrington Jr was another key player, picking up 95 receiving yards and one TD.
Middle Creek didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Honor Paxton and Nicolas Bocciardi. Middle Creek got some further help from Connor Smith: he made 11 total tackles (3.0 for loss).
