Chesapeake Math & IT Academy South won the last time they faced Surrattsville and things went their way on Wednesday too. The Tigers put the hurt on the Hornets with a sharp 3-0 victory. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Tigers.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-16, 25-11, 25-13.

Alyssa Brace paced Chesapeake Math & IT Academy South's offense, picking up seven kills. Brace got some help from Hailey Pilgrim and her seven assists. Brace was also solid from the service line: she led the team with seven aces.

Chesapeake Math & IT Academy South has also opened the season with a perfect 2-0 record.

Chesapeake Math & IT Academy South wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 3-0 win against Chesapeake Science Point on the 12th. As for Surrattsville, they will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Oxon Hill at 6:30 p.m. on the 29th.
