Football Preview: Burkburnett Bulldogs vs. Mineral Wells Rams
The Burkburnett Bulldogs will head out to face off against the Mineral Wells Rams at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Burkburnett will be strutting in after a victory while Mineral Wells will be coming in after a defeat.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Burkburnett to victory, but perhaps none more so than Brody Boyd, who threw for 296 yards and four touchdowns while picking up 10.6 yards per attempt. The dominant performance also gave Boyd a new career-high in passer rating (142.3). Luke Kirkpatrick helped Boyd out on the ground, rushing for 112 yards and a pair of scores on only 14 carries.

Burkburnett's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-8. As for Mineral Wells, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-6.
