Volleyball Recap: Jurupa Hills Comes Up Short

After flying high against Fontana last Thursday, Jurupa Hills came back down to earth. The Spartans fell 3-1 to the Notre Dame Titans on Tuesday. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Titans this season, with their most recent loss being a 3-2 defeat back in September.

While Jurupa Hills ultimately came up short, they didn't go down without a fight: they scored at least 18 points in every set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-22, 25-19, 20-25, 25-18.

Jurupa Hills' loss was their fourth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 11-14. As for Notre Dame, their win bumped their record up to 5-24.

Jurupa Hills does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Notre Dame, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 3-0 defeat against San Gorgonio on the 9th.
