Lubbock-Cooper proved they can win big last Friday (they won by 26) and on Tuesday they proved they can win the close ones too. They skirted past the Tascosa Rebels 52-50. The win was nothing new for the Pirates as they're now sitting on five straight.

As for Tascosa, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 17-10.
