Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask D.C. Everest). They breezed by the Wausau East Lumberjacks to the tune of 57-27 on Friday. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 50-11 back in December of 2024.

Despite the loss, Wausau East still got an impressive performance from Evelyn Thome, who dropped a double-double on 23 points and 14 boards. Thome is crushing it when it comes to rebounds: she's pulled down at least ten every time she's taken the court this season.

D.C. Everest's win bumped their record up to 6-9. As for Wausau East, their loss was their tenth straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 0-11.
