Watervliet extended their winning streak to three games thanks to a huge performance from Sophia Rogers. The Cannoneers were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Waterford-Halfmoon Fordians on Monday thanks in part to Rogers, who had eight aces and six digs. Rogers is crushing it when it comes to aces: she's served at least four every time she's taken the court this season.

Watervliet never let Waterford-Halfmoon on the board, but things got pretty close in the second set. The match finished with set scores of 25-11, 25-23, 25-14.

Watervliet's win bumped their record up to 8-2. As for Waterford-Halfmoon, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-6.

Coming up, Watervliet will challenge Hudson at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Waterford-Halfmoon, they will square off against Cambridge at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
