After losing to Norland the last time they met, Northwestern decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Bulls claimed a resounding 49-21 win over the Vikings. Given the Bulls' advantage in MaxPreps' Florida football rankings (they are ranked fifth, while the Vikings are ranked 30th) , the win on Friday wasn't entirely unexpected.

Northwestern found their leader in sophomore Neiman Lawrence, who threw for 206 yards and three TDs while completing 75% of his passes, and also rushed for 44 yards and one score. Another player making a difference was Ryan Mathis, who gained 116 total yards and a touchdown.

Despite the loss, Norland still got an impressive performance from Kai Moore, who threw for 242 yards and one touchdown on only 12 passes.

The victory made it two in a row for Northwestern and bumps their season record up to 2-1. Those wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 27 points in those games. As for Norland, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-2.

Northwestern didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 41-6 victory against Columbus on the 19th. As for Norland, they have also already played their next contest, a 43-20 loss against Atlantic on the 18th.
