Baseball Recap: Franklin Warriors vs. Phillipsburg Stateliners
Franklin was the 8-1 winner over Phillipsburg when they last played one another back in April of 2025, but their luck changed this time around. The Warriors fell just short of the Stateliners by a score of 7-6 on Tuesday. That's two games in a row now that the Warriors have lost by just one run.

Franklin got a big performance out of Kelvin Heuston, who got on base in all three of his plate appearances with three runs and one stolen base. Heuston has become a key player for the Warriors: the team is 2-1 when he posts at least two runs, but 2-6 otherwise.
