Soccer Game Preview: Stony Point vs. Cedar Ridge

The Stony Point Tigers will head out to face off against the Cedar Ridge Raiders at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this contest.

Cedar Ridge will have to contend with a Stony Point team hungry for a win, something the squad hasn't seen since January 28. Stony Point took a 4-2 hit to the loss column at the hands of McNeil on Friday.

Meanwhile, Friday just wasn't the day for Cedar Ridge's offense. They came up short against Round Rock on Friday, falling 5-0. While losing is never fun, the Raiders can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas soccer rankings (they are ranked 211th, while the Dragons are ranked 12th).

Stony Point's loss dropped their record down to 3-12. As for Cedar Ridge, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-7.
