            Football Recap: Fairfax Stampede vs. Tolleson Wolverines        
        
		
        
        
            The Fairfax Stampede came up short against  the Tolleson Wolverines on Friday, falling  43-21. The Stampede have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
 Jesus Gurule and  Jayden Varela certainly did their best on Friday to avoid the loss.  Gurule rushed for 51 yards and one  touchdown, while  Varela picked up 55 receiving yards and one  TD.  Michael Branch was in the mix  as well, providing Fairfax with one score.
 Fairfax didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of  Dre Lacey and  Kamare Greer. Fairfax received some extra help from  Branch, whose fumble return for a touchdown  made for one of the most unforgettable moments.
  Youngmin Lee had another great game (as  he tends to do), throwing for 258 yards and a pair of  touchdowns while picking up 12.9 yards per attempt, and also punching in a pair of  TDs on the ground for Tolleson.  Rico Blassingame was  Lee's top target, picking up 104 receiving yards and two  scores.
Fairfax's defeat dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Tolleson, the  win keeps them at an undefeated 4-0.
 Fairfax wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next  game,  a  1-0  loss against Yuma Catholic on the 26th. As for Tolleson, they have also already played their next contest,  a  43-14  victory against Willow Canyon on the 26th.
