Basketball Recap: Red Hill Takes a Loss

Red Hill lost against Dugger Union back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Red Hill Salukis fell 45-38 to the Dugger Union Bulldogs. The Salukis have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Leading Dugger Union to victory were Jordyn Smith and Sage Stahl. Smith posted 24 points and five steals, while Stahl dropped a double-double on 12 points and 17 rebounds. That makes it six consecutive games in which Smith has scored at least a third of Dugger Union's points.

Red Hill's loss dropped their record down to 4-14. As for Dugger Union, the win snapped their losing streak at seven games and leaves them with a 6-15 record.

Red Hill has already played their next matchup (against Farina South Central), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Dugger Union will face off against Cloverdale at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Dugger Union is facing Cloverdale at the right time seeing as Cloverdale is stuck on a four-game losing streak.
