Volleyball Recap: Decatur Community Comes Up Short

Decatur Community was the 2-1 winner over Quinter when they last played one another last Tuesday, but their luck changed this time around. The Red Devils fell just short of the Bulldogs by a score of 2-1 on Saturday. The Red Devils have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Decatur Community came incredibly close to winning: the sets they lost were decided by three points or less. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 17-25, 25-23, 25-23.

Decatur Community's defeat dropped their record down to 19-18. As for Quinter, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 27-10 record this season.

As of now, neither Decatur Community nor Quinter have any future games scheduled.
